Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to inquiries, booking requests, reservations, and participation in experiences provided by Japan Budo Tourism Organization Co., Ltd.
1. Booking Requests
Submitting an inquiry or booking request does not confirm a reservation.
A booking is confirmed only after we have checked availability and sent a confirmation email to the customer.
2. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown on each experience page or in the booking confirmation.
Payment methods, payment deadlines, and payment instructions will be provided after availability has been confirmed.
Customers are responsible for any bank charges, communication charges, transportation expenses, and other costs not expressly included in the experience price.
3. Changes to a Booking
Requests to change the date, time, number of participants, participant information, venue, or experience details are subject to availability.
Additional charges may apply when the requested content or conditions are changed.
4. Cancellation
Cancellation fees and refund conditions are governed by the Cancellation Policy published on this website.
5. Late Arrival
Customers must arrive at the confirmed meeting place by the stated meeting time.
If a customer arrives late, the experience may be shortened, changed, or cancelled when it cannot be conducted safely or completed within the reserved time.
6. Safety and Instructions
Customers must follow the instructions of the instructor and staff.
Participation may be refused or stopped when a customer:
- Disregards safety instructions
- Behaves in a dangerous or disruptive manner
- Is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Has a condition that makes safe participation difficult
- Provides materially incorrect participant information
In such cases, refunds may not be available.
7. Health and Physical Condition
Customers are responsible for confirming that they are physically able to participate.
Customers must inform us in advance of any injury, illness, allergy, disability, pregnancy, medication, or other condition that may affect safe participation.
We may modify or refuse participation when necessary for safety.
8. Clothing and Equipment
Customers must provide accurate information regarding height, clothing size, and other details required for preparation.
Equipment and clothing provided for the experience must be used carefully and returned after the experience.
Customers may be charged for intentional or negligent damage or loss.
9. Photographs and Videos
Photography or video recording may be restricted depending on the venue, activity, instructor, other participants, or safety conditions.
Permission must be obtained before photographing or recording other participants or staff.
We will not use identifiable customer photographs for advertising without appropriate permission.
10. Changes or Cancellation by the Organizer
We may change or cancel an experience due to:
- Severe weather
- Venue conditions
- Instructor unavailability
- Safety concerns
- Transportation disruption
- Natural disasters
- Other unavoidable circumstances
When possible, we will offer another date or provide a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled experience.
We are not responsible for transportation, accommodation, or other consequential expenses.
11. Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their own valuables and personal belongings.
We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage unless caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Liability
We will provide experiences with reasonable care and attention to safety.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
13. Personal Information
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any dispute will be handled through good-faith discussion. If court proceedings are necessary, the competent court in Japan will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
